…know more about a scribbling stranger?
Gauri Priya Bora
Mumbling, selectively extroverted and just a bit too indulgent in stories and songs, I am a book bean, a Zoological jelly, currently a Biotech bee and forever a daydreaming scribbler. I was born, live and love in Northeastern India, specifically Assam, have a problematic typing style and love writing bizarre stories on rainy days. My favorite drink is steaming hot ginger tea and season, autumn.
I revisit short-stories by Ruskin Bond and Gail Honeyman’s Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine at regular intervals; like pretending to be an orchestra conductor to David Bowie’s Starman; worship The Shawshank Redemption, am a sinner for detective thrillers and will always have a stomach full of butterflies over the story-line of most K-dramas.
My imperfect keepsakes: A Child’s Play (collected poems) and A Crooked Keepsake (short-stories, novellas and personal essays) are available in the link below.
